Properties:
Potassium dichromate is also called potassium bichromate, its molecular formula is K2Cr2O7, with relative molecular weight of 294.1846, weight is 294.1846, melting point is 398 ºC and boiling point is 500 ºC. At room temperature, it is orange red triclinic crystal or needle like crystal, soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol.
Application:
It is used for chrome alum, match, chrome pigment, tanning, electroplating, organic synthesis, etc.
